On the onset of the Annapurna Sanctuary trekking tour, one visits quite a few places of tourist interest in Delhi like the Red fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Parliament house and many such other places.
A full day tour of the city of Kathmandu is also enjoyed by the tourists. From Kathmandu, one drives to Pokhara and explores the valley there. A trekking trip is planned from Dhamphes Phedi through the Yamdi khola valley upto the lovely village of Dhampus.
The trek continues over the ridge to Deurali, a high point on this walk, and then descends to Bheri Kharka, the sheep pasture. After spending night in the tents in Landrung one moves to the Modi Khola valley. This valley offers views of South Annapurna, Gangapurna, Hiunchuli and Machapuchhare.
After spending the night in the tents in the place of hot springs, Jhinu, one moves forward in the Modi Khola Gorge. One can spot the birds and Langoors in the bamboo and rhododendron forests.
The trail continues in the Modi Khola valley from Dovan to the Hinku caves. A bit ahead one gets to see the overbearing peak of Hiunchuli. After a night at the Machapuchhare base camp the Annapurna sanctuary tour moves up to Bundi and then Chomrung.
The tour continues on a steep trail to Kimrong khola though Oak Forest. As the Annapurna Sanctuary tour nears the end one reaches the village Ghandrung that are the headquarters of the Annapurna conservation area.
