The Great Himalayan Wonder tour is a 24 days tour which starts as well as ends at Delhi .It covers the exotix regions of Leh, Kargil, Rindon Padum, Mune, Dortzon, Purne, Thable, Gombarjan, Lekong, Chuminakpo, Zanskar, Palamu, Darcha, Manali and Nalagarh.
The tour includes all meals from the Indian and Continental menus. There are well trained local guides and escorts to assist you during the trip. The tour provides you with tents and other equipment used for mountain climbing.
Initially at the start of the Great Himalayan Wonder tour we will see the places in and around Delhi such as the Red Fort, before leaving for Leh. In Leh we will cover the areas of Shey, Thiksey, Spituk and Hemis Gompas. Then we will leave for Kargil where we will visit the beautiful Suru valley in the Rungdon village which is a Muslim inhibited area.
From there we go to Padum and enter the Zanskar valley for an overnight camp. We will then indulge in some trekking in the Mune, Dortzon and Purne regions. We continue the trekking to Phuktal, Thable, Gomborajan, Lakong, Chuminakpo, Sumdo, Palamu, and Darcha while halting for overnight camps during the tour.
As we come to the end of the Great Himalayan Wonder Tour we drive down to Manali crossing the Rohtang pass into the Kullu valley. In Manali we visit Rohtang and Vasishth hot springs. We then drive down to Nalagarh from where we would be departing for Delhi as the Great Himalayan Wonder tour comes to an end.
