Overview
Kashmir Ladakh Zanskar Tour gives you a chance to explore different regions of Kashmir with different landscape. During the tour, visits to ancient monasteries, Padam plains, steep mountains and valleys are arranged. Untouched by the winds of change Zanskar offers a favorite ground for trekkers.
The concentration of Gompa's is the highest in this region. The tour offers you a tour of Srinagar, Kargil, Rangdom, Padam, Bardan Gompa, Uletokpo and Leh for 13 days and 12 nights .
Tour Summary
As soon as you arrive at the airport tour representatives escort you to the hotel or houseboat. In the afternoon you take a ride in the Dal Lake and visit the places of interest around. On the second day a sight seeing trip to the city is arranged where all the places of historic importance are visited like Mogul Gardens, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Jamia Masjid, mosque of Shah Hamdan and the museum. On the third day a trip to Kargil is arranged.
On the way visit Sonmarg and then start a steep ascend towards Kargil through the Zojila pass. At Drass a passport check is conducted where you can opt for tea or coffee. By the evening you reach the hotel room. On the fourth day you are on your way to Rangdom throughParkachan and Panikar village. On the fifth day you are on your way to Padam and on the way you visit Gompa. After your visit you continue your way to Padam and on the way cross the Pensila pass.
By late afternoon you reach Padam. The sixth day is spent in visiting Thonde Gompa, Zangla and Pipitong. These are the most ancient villages of the area. The oldest monastery of Karsha Gompa is visited on the way back during the evening. A day full of trek is arranged to Bardan Gompa on the seventh day. On the eighth day you start your descend and by evening reach Kargil.
 On the ninth day you visit Uletokpo crossing the highest pass on the Srinagar Leh route. A visit to the Lamayuru and Mulbek monastery are arranged on the way. On the tenth day you are on your way to Leh through Alchi monastery and some ancient Buddhist villages. On the eleventh day in Leh a day full of excursion awaits you where you visit Thiksey, Hemis and Shey monastery.
The next morning tours to Phyang and Spituk monastery are arranged and in the afternoon Kings Palace, Leh Mosque, Shankar Gompa and Tsemo Gompa are visited. On the thirteenth day your tour comes to an end and you are transferred to the airport for your further journey.
