Tours to Punjab

Tours to Punjab, Punjab Tour Packages, Punjab Travel Tour There are innumerable of things to do in Chandigarh. One can choose to visit the monuments and see the renowned architecture, admire the landscaping and explore the Leisure Valley or take the nature tracks or view the development of Chandigarh in the City Museum, or simply swallow the serenity of the Sukhna Lake.

The places to be visited in the Capitol complex of Chandigarh are the three major buildings of the Secretariat, the Assembly, and the High Court. All the three are interlocked to one another as part of a subtle visual composition, delicately balanced, and enclosing grandiose spaces

One of the most important places to visit is Sector 17, Chandigarh's sleek shopping area and the city center. Planned around four pedestrian concourses meeting at a central chowk (intersection), the Sector 17 of Chandigarh is a pedestrian's paradise dotted with fountains, sculptures, and groves of trees.

Ludhiana is situated on the Amritsar-Delhi Grand Trunk Road. New Delhi, Amritsar, Chandigarh and other major cities in Punjab are well linked with Ludhiana through road. The city lies about 305 km northwest of Delhi and is 100 km away from Chandigarh
Ludhiana is on the banks of River Sutlej. in 1481, Ludhiana used to be an insignificant village that was under Yodha, Gupta and Rajput rule for centuries. It was much later during the rule of Maharaja Ranjit Singhji that Ludhiana began developing. In the later years British captured and developed it as it stands today. It has 500-year old Lodhi Fort that was constructed by the Sikander Lodhi when he ruled the plains near River Sutlej.

Sprinkled with Gurudwaras, Ludhiana in Punjab is a popular pilgrimage as well. The annual Rural Olympics are a popular attraction. One can tour the Aam Khas Bagh, Rauza Sharif and the Jor Mela celebrated at Gurudwara Jyoti Swarup.

Guru Ramdas laid the foundation stone of Chak Ramdas or Ramdas Pur, now called as Amritsar, which plainly means "Pool of Nectar".

This city is located in the North Indian state of Punjab it is an active center known for the world famous Golden Temple .The masterpiece monument more than 400 years old, is a place for pilgrimage for people from around the globe.

Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known Golden Temple, is named after Hari the temple of God. Guru Arjan Sahib, the Fifth Nanak, considered the idea of creating a central place of worship for the Sikhs and he himself designed the architecture of Sri Harmandir Sahib.
