Auli is an adventure destination 16 km away from Joshimath. The town lies to the north of the state of Uttaranchal and forms a part of the Garhwal mountain ranges. The steep slopes of the Auli are covered with the deodar and oak forests and offer panoramic views of the famous Himalayan peaks.
