Uttaranchal is located in the north of India and comprises of 13 districts and further they are divided into two regions namely Garhwal region and Kumaon region. Both these regions are hilly regions and follow Garhwal mountainous culture respectively. Garhwal region comprises of 7 districts namely Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Haridwar, Chamoli, Pauri, Rudraprayag and Tehri Garhwal. Kumaon region consists of 6 districts which are Nainital, Almora, Champawat, Pithorgarh, Bageshwar and Udham Singh Nagar.
