Summary
The commonly spotted fauna in the sanctuary are musk deer, monal and brown bear and even the snow leopard. The snow leopards are extremely shy creatures and rarely venture in to the open. The other fauna includes the Himalayan palm civet, flying fox, barking deer, Indian hare,  Himalayan yellow throated marten and the Himalayan tahr.
