Overview
Badhavgarh National Park was established in the year 1968. The extension of the park took place in the year 1986. Spread over an area of 44,864 hectares it was declared as a tiger reserve in 1993. It is located in Madhya Pradesh in the Umaria district. It was a property of the maharaja of Rewa before it was handed over to the Indian government.
