Corbett National Park

Overview

Corbett National Park was established by the government of India with the help of Jim Corbett, the British hunter of the Man eating tigers. It was initially named as the Hailey national Park but later renamed as Corbett National Park. This park covers an area of 52,082 hectares. One of India's largest national parks, it was declared as a Tiger reserve in the year 1973.
